John DeMarco is a 25-year + resident of South Florida and started practicing real estate in 2005. His background includes Business administration, Senior Health care administration, and Business Law. John DeMarco makes it his priority to offer clients national/international exposure, local expertise, and uncompromising customer service. His business was founded on building and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering the best results possible for his clients. He is the Broker/Owner of Re/Max 5 Star Realty, a thriving Real Estate firm with over 65 full-time real estate agents, and the DeMarco Real Estate Group which is one of the highest-producing Commercial Real Estate teams in the US and Motto Mortgage 5 Star Professionals a leading mortgage brokerage office.
The DeMarco Real Estate Group was ranked #1 in the United States for commercial sales within the Re/Max organization from 2017 through 2022, and #1 in Florida in 2012 through 2022, and #2 in Commercial Team Worldwide from 2018 through 2020. Since his start in the commercial real estate industry in 2005, John DeMarco has self-built a commercial real estate team that has successfully sold over 600 million dollars in real estate since its inception. He and his team have earned their clients millions of dollars in strategic acquisitions and resales. DeMarco’s specialization includes selling all commercial real estate, industrial real estate, investment properties, business sales and acquisitions, wealth management, strategic client acquisitions, 1031 tax-deferred transactions, and senior housing facility (ALFs). DeMarco brings knowledge and experience that strengthens and elevates every transaction for positive results for all parties involved in a transaction. John DeMarco represents property owners, investment firms, national organizations, real estate investment trusts, developers, and small business owners.
John DeMarco has pioneered and developed several proprietary marketing methods that allow him to effectively originate very wealthy and qualified international investors that transfer wealth and invest their assets in the US. These unique and original methods allow him to sell his listed properties quickly and at premium prices maximizing his client’s net proceeds.

Motto mortgage is a full-service licensed mortgage company located in Hollywood Florida. DeMarco founded this mortgage division to offer his real estate clients a means to close transactions more transparently and efficiently. Motto has developed key lending relationships that allow them to close on both conventional mortgages and the more challenging non-conventional loans. They originate and close on commercial loans, residential loans, and private (hard money) loans and are considered to be lending experts.
John DeMarco believes it is very important to give back to the local community which has given so much to him. He donates both financially and physically to several charitable organizations including the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami, Saint Gregory Church, the Jewish Community Services of South Florida (JCSFL), the Children’s Miracle Network, and the Great Strides Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to name a few. A portion of every commission earned from every one of his closings is donated to charity.
